Let’s meet at the Gauder!

Every spring, this is the question that all friends of well-kept customs and beer culture, practice. Every year on the first weekend in May we celebrate the Gauder Festival, Austria's largest spring and folk costume festival. Around 30,000 visitors come to Zell am Ziller and transform the market town into a colorful sea of colors, as it has been since 1428, when it was first mentioned. UNESCO even declared the Gauder Festival an intangible cultural heritage in 2014. Especially for the festival, we brew the legendary Gauder Bock, Austria's strongest festival beer with 7.8% alcohol.
