In 1678 Ludwig Jobst - a direct ancestor of our family and the first independent beer brewer in Tyrol - made the brewery a family affair. Since then we have kept the secrets of traditional brewing and have passed them on from generation to generation. Passion and innovation are still indispensable ingredients for our beer specialties and two central pillars of our brewing philosophy.
